Reverend Conte, a prolific expert on the occult and whiskey, accompanies a ragtag group of rejected military men to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of Marine units stationed there in 1944, said to be in the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. After speaking with the islanders, they soon discover that the Marines were actually massacred by a group of lycanthropes, known to most as werewolves.
