While Lion may contain enough technical lapses to keep it from qualifying as a special operations documentary, there are many other details it gets right — some surprisingly — that it stands far above. For example, I, myself, switched to Lion after starting to watch Heart of Stone.

I usually enjoy Gal Gadot, but I wanted to see a little more red meat. From the action and plot to the relatable cast of characters embodied by a truly stellar cast, it’s all superbly enjoyable!
