Synopsis
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has brought Autumn the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub she discovers named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown of New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, while adjusting to life in the city, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides that she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s adorably clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this ill-advised plan. Together with Anja, Autumn sets out on a journey to reconnect with Hope and save her from those who would destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
