Synopsis
Follow Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary filmmaker whose work is built around exposing the abuses of long-respected institutions. The exceptionally talented Russian blue cat in the Ravenscroft house improvises all of her actions and dialogue.
It could easily have been reduced to a banal two-hour film
In several episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium telephoto. Such a lens would not be able to focus on close-up subjects, such as selfies with Sasha or the bedroom with Catherine.
I approached the series thinking of a thriller, which it has very little to do with, we are faced with a drama
The sex scenes, I would say, are definitely too clear and strong for a TV series, sometimes even less is enough to understand what is happening. I am not a fanatic, quite the opposite 😉, but I believe that on the visual side, sex should always be taken more lightly, we all know how it works 😂.
I still think that a film would have been more appropriate
The story is well told, the characters well developed and the acting quite exceptional, I also like the off-screen dialogue, it gives a “poetic” and “introspective” touch to the characters directly involved.
