For legal reasons, they had to give Dean Hargrove “according to the series Matlock”
credit.. In order for Matlock to be hired by a New York law firm, they had to verify her law license status through one of three formal mechanisms, each carefully managed by the state.
Adaptation of Matlock (1986)
This would confirm identity, address, current license status, disciplinary actions, etc. It’s a fascinating and interesting take on a legal series.

The Kathy Bates and Beau Bridges revival is classic CBS, and while it doesn’t ask much of you, it’s a fun and easy watch. Yes, there is a twist at the end that will give the series some much needed depth.

began a probationary period at a law firm and determined to be useful in order to get a job. Obviously, everyone doubts her abilities and thinks she’s too old, and she’s out to prove them wrong.
