That’s a decent account of Trump
Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong give solid performances in this cinematic take on Donald Trump, and #40 does an impressive job of conveying Trump’s character arc as he goes from a confident but self-absorbed daddy’s boy in the 1970s to a more narcissistic and arrogant tycoon. The film has a dark 70’s vibe that morphs into a sleeker but more demonic aura in the 80’s. It’s Jeremy Strong who steals the film with a stunningly complex turn as Roy Cohn, the ruthless but psychologically tortured high-profile lawyer who initially takes Trump under his wing.
