Synopsis
Four children make a mysterious discovery on their planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The Chewbacca family clock from the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978) holographic circus that entertains Neal’s little siblings. AniMat Crazy Cartoon Starring: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022) Skeleton Crew is a children’s television series.
The skeleton crew starts in the suburbs
That’s a good thing, because Star Wars has always been kid-friendly, and why not Star Wars-themed kids’ shows? But it’s not an adult-friendly kids’ show like Stranger Things or Paper Girls. It’s like a show designed specifically to appeal to ten-year-olds and no one else.
So it was an interesting twist for a moment or two
It’s a suburb of the Star Wars universe, but take away the robots and aliens and it could be where I grew up. Unfortunately, these suburbs are filled with boring characters with uninteresting problems. Yes, it was all building up to the big moment at the end of the first episode, but I was so bored with that first episode that I started skipping halfway through, and even the last act felt – meh.

Will it get better when Jude Law shows up? can be. But I feel like if a show’s first episode is so boring that I can’t get through it, it’s not going to get any better anytime soon.
