Synopsis
A grieving therapist starts telling his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making big changes in people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Shrinking” share the best moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who has the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and that he was going to audition people similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least get him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn him down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was brought onto the project, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was elated nonetheless.
His dry delivery is the absolute best
Harrison Ford is simply amazing in this show! His curmudgeonly demeanor and sharp tongue are now my life goal as I reach my older years. He’s hysterical and I need more of this in my life!
This show is beautifully written
Also, if you’re a Jason Segel fan, you won’t be disappointed. It has well-rounded characters facing real issues. It brings all the emotions and leaves you wanting more each week.

In the vein of Ted Lasso, it feels like a warm hug. Can’t wait for season 2! You’ll be very pleasantly surprised and glad you went on the journey.
