Synopsis
During the rapid collapse of society, a rich man’s mountain block struggles between the military imperatives of its veteran operators and the rural values of its member families. Neal McDonough agreed to star in this project because he liked Angel Studios and was happy to play a non-evil role. Following his stint as a benefactor of The Shift (2023), McDonough made a deal with Angel Studios to submit some of his projects to the company for optional release if they were approved by the creators of the Angel Guild. It was his first project to be approved for funding and release. In 2023, Illuminate – Angel Studios (2023) was featured.
