Let the beggar’s cloak cover you with its fantastic story
Sure, it was amazing, but then again, the author is very poetic in mining old curses and the like… or tragic love, human nature… It all comes from the Master of the genre. I was swept away by almost everything, not in the first episode, then I was intrigued, and I hope you let the alchemy/magic happen as I did.
Like some Game of Thrones fever
It’s all about history and memory, how incredible and intertwined they are and what we do with them. I feel like reading this novel again, right now!
Sad, but beautiful
The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation. This is not Dickens and a Christmas story for children, but a story for adults.
